AlwaysIn

Privacy Policy

Effective September 28, 2026

This policy covers the AlwaysIn free visibility scan at scan.alwaysin.ca, operated by AlwaysIn. We handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Information We Collect

To run the scan, we collect the business name you type, the business you pick from Google's suggestions or the Google Maps link you paste, and a search phrase if you type your own. While you type your business name, the text is sent to Google so it can suggest matching businesses. If you ask for your full report, or ask us to find your business, we collect your email address. Our hosting provider also records standard technical data such as IP address and browser type.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to run your scan, which includes using an AI model to choose a search phrase from your business's Google listing, submitting your business name and city to AI search engines to see whether they recommend you, to prepare and deliver your report, to respond to help requests, and to follow up with you about your scan and how AlwaysIn can help, including occasional marketing emails about AlwaysIn services. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

3. Your Report Link

Your report lives at a private link created for you. It is not listed publicly, but anyone you share the link with can view the report. If you do not want someone to see it, do not forward the link.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers to host, store, process, and deliver the service. These include website hosting, data storage, our customer relationship management and email platform, site analytics, and the AI search engines queried to produce your scan results. Data may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other locations where our providers operate. We require service providers to protect personal information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies on this site. If we run advertising, we use the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which records that you visited this site and started a scan, and shares that with Meta to help us measure our ads and reach people with similar interests. Meta may connect this with your Meta account under its own privacy policy. You can limit this through your browser's cookie controls and through Meta's ad preferences settings. Blocking these cookies does not affect your scan or your report.

We use Microsoft Clarity to see where people get stuck on this site. Clarity uses cookies to make session recordings and heatmaps of clicks, taps, scrolls, and how long each screen stays open. Anything you type, such as your business name, email, or search phrase, and your business address and phone number are hidden before anything is recorded. Recordings are not linked to your name, and Microsoft handles them under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

6. Data Retention

We retain scan results and contact details for as long as needed to provide the service, follow up, and maintain business records, and no longer than 24 months after your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner and we are legally permitted to do so.

7. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure will never occur.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, security, or business reasons. AlwaysIn handles these requests in line with PIPEDA.

9. Communications and Opt-Out

You may opt out of marketing communications using the unsubscribe instructions provided or by contacting us. Messages needed to deliver your report or respond to your requests may still be sent where permitted.
